Did this clean today, and as you can see from the pic the windows are mullions. Problem with them though. I could see as I went on throughout the day that a good number of them had what looked like mineral deposits below the stone-work.




Would I be correct in thinking this normal for this style window and that limescale remover will remove it? If not limescale remover what could be used.

I've spoken to the estate manager and she has agreed another days work for it so thats not a problem (particularly as they paid up front for the insides and outsides to be done) but I want to confirm for those guys that have experienced this what they used?

Also what cleaning frequency would you suggest to be sure this doesn't re-occur. They aren't so keen on 3 monthly. But Im hiping to use this an opportunity to persuade them its the best thing.

i have had this on window where there was a decoratice lintel above the window made out of the same thing, and the windows below had what looked like mineral deposits on them, but limescale removed wouldnt touch them.

recommends limelite from the coop

reckons its the dogs do das

but have not tried it myself yet

I've tried limelite, if found it to be nowhere near as good as viakal, it's a shame because it's cheap.

Are your stains on the glass. I do not thing its lime scale but an acid deposit  leaching from the brick and stone work.

If the stone work has not been sealed, then every time it rains it will rinse over the stonework and over time will sand blast the glass and will be impossible to remove !
