services. Storage and retrieval services. Engineering support services.
Maintenance services of radio-communications equipment. Washing and
dry-cleaning services. Pest-control services. Tailoring services. Refuse
and waste related services. Funeral services. Reprographic services. To
deliver a Multi-Activity Contract for Station Services at RAF Cranwell and
a small element of residual Services at RAF Scampton, after various units
re-locate to new premises. RAF Scampton is due to close in 2014 but there
will be a small enclave after this period. Services are listed below with
appropriate CPV codes in Section 11.1.6.

II.2) QUANTITY OR SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT
II.2.1) Total quantity or scope
The provision of the Multi-Activity Contract will be over 2 years with the
Option of an additional 1 year at an estimated range of value excluding
VAT:- 10 000 000 - 15 000 000. There is also the possibility of providing
the Multi-Activity contract for a further 1 year, which would make it a 3
year period with the option of an additional 1 year, which should be
valued separately. both these options will include a small element of
Services at RAF Scampton. The Statement of Requirement will contain the
following sections - Management and Administration, Contingency Planning,
Aircraft Flying Clothing and Survival Equipment Support, Media Services,
Engineering Operations and Records Support, General Engineering Support,
Armament Support, Communications Information Systems, Mechanical Transport
Operations, Mechanical Transport Maintenance, Supply Support Services,
Fire and Crash Rescue Services, Accommodation Cleaning (includes Window
Cleaning), Laundry and Dry cleaning Services, Pest Control, Tailoring
Services, Funeral Services, Waste Disposal Services and Aptitude Testing
Services. The MOD reserves the right to employ a Reverse Auction for the
procurement of these services. Additionally, potential bidders are to note
that should there be no effective competition for these services the MOD
reserves the right to use non-competitive pricing techniques such as No
Acceptable Price No Contract (NAPNOC) in order to ensure value for money.
Any potential bidder must therefore be prepared to move quickly from a
competitive route to a non-competitive route in this procurement process.
