What size RO &tank?
« on: September 28, 2005, 04:12:27 pm »
If I can work out how much water one average 25ft pole uses per hour when in use, then I'll know what size RO ant tank to get!!  Does that make sense?

I'm guessing somewhere between 30 - 40litres per hour 'ball park figure.  Am I close?

So one man would use about 250litres a day.  Close?
So if I sometimes team up as a two man team I better get a kit that does about 400litres.  Any good?

So if I'm right what RO do I need?
If I'm wrong, more questions..

I've got a 1000 litre tank and some days we use it all and others we can return with a third. It all depends on the sites you are cleaning. Get a 1000 litre and the biggest RO you can and you'll be covered for all. :)

My RO's were fitted by Ionic 7 years ago so I don't really know what's on the market or how good they are. These are called Champ 4000. No idea of the gpd but they do for me! ;D

It's alright I'll take your ignorance into account ;) I used to have the tank in a van but have now transferred to a trailer, van was getting old and the trailer looked a safer option. Also I can now leave the trailer and use my vehicle for other purposes. I fill it overnight at home.
