Driveway Cleaning help
« on: March 02, 2011, 12:36:05 am »
Im starting a few jobs this week and next driveway cleaning, i seem to have all the tools but just dont have the correct chemiicals at the correct price for sealing, weeds etc.

1 - Im angling my company as eco and weed killer free, is there anything out there that will lift heavy lichten algae,  moss and weeds that is eco friendly ?
I dont want to be going back to jobs in a few weeks to clean again as weeds have started to come through.
Should i ask the customer to apply weedkiller themselves 4 weeks after the wash ?

2 - what is the best sealer on the market and best value ? im not pushing the sealing as reading throught the forum its more trouble than its worth.
I would just like to keep a few barrels if a customer really wants it

Thanks for any help in advance

Ive been doing it for 3 years now and have only had 2 people ask about it.
i tell them either to go and get the stuff themselves and d.i.y., or tell them it can go wrong quite easily and thats why I decided to not to do sealing.
Not the best business plan I know, but if it does go wrong then its more mither and expense.

Had oil on block driveway today, what is the best stuff to get and do you apply before cleaning and how long before ?

What is the best anti fungal spray to use on block paving, do you spray it on before you clean or after ?

Thanks
