i have a set of trade ladders, BUT my very favourite are the ABRU professional (not the d-i-y range ) 2.0metre triple. i tell you for why- they are very light and shrink down low enough to go thru alleyways easily and nothings is worse than heavy ladders (abru rating is 23stone weight limit !
the trade ladders set(3.0 triple ) i only use on the higher jobs ,not the regular houses

I got a set of roof bars for £60 now i am still undecided on the ladders now i have seen the titan trade and light ind ones 3.5m for £98 thats with feet fitted or 4.0m for £110 again with feet fitted so do i do 3.5 or 4.0 mate and do you reccomend the rojak stopper aswell as i will be working alone

in my opinion 4.0 is way way to big, also look very carefully at the weight of whichever ladders you pick, remember you are lugging them a lot. if i was you i would get spikes fitted on your ladder too( ebay sell spikes) ,i can tell you spikes grip fantastic especially as you are working alone

Make sure you get
proper ladder fee
t fitted to your ladder, they are a must, put Ladder Mitts on the top. With these 2 add-ons you'll be much safer!

There are many ladder safety devices available which can be used to minimize risk. Put these to good use. Remember to carry out regular and documented ladder inspections to ensure the ladders are still secure and safe and are not damaged. Wooden ladders are warmer on the hands in winter than aluminium, but aluminium ladders are lighter to carry.
