rubber carb air hose
« on: January 02, 2011, 04:59:20 pm »
if  i was to replace the pipe at the brush with a small bore rubber  carb air hose wouldnt this increase the speed of wich the water would exit the fan jets.
im on about the 2 short v shape pipes that fit to the brush.

im going by the smaller the bore the faster , like when you put your finger over the end of a hose when watering the garden.

what do you think.

I think that the fan jets themselves are the crucial point. It wouldn't matter if you had a 3mm or 6mm hose on the back of them.
It's a game of three halves!

I agree with gold - the fan jets have a max LPM ( i think the blue lumark are 2.2 ltrs flow ) i know if i put
my controller over 3/4 to full spped the pump will start to pulse every 30 sec's or so as the pressure backs up
