If snowed off next week re employee

I employ one person he chose to have a week off between xmas and new year so will be working this mon till xmas eve do I send him home or work in the snow or maybe door knock or put out flyers do I legally have to pay him if we can.t work due to bad weather.

We get our guy putting flyers out,as he's boss you can tell him when he can have he's holidays,you could lay him off aswell

As his employer you can choose when he takes his holidays, although that may be a moot point now as they have already been organised. No you don't have to pay him if you can't work, you can lay him off.

thats a nice present the week before xmas no pay for him,i would still pay him and leaflet if its to bad to work

One of us appears to have just made up the facts without checking, and you reckon an employer cannot tell you when to take your holidays? Maybe i just made it up for a laugh?
