thick heavy fog

got really thick heavy fog here tonite does anyone know if this is a sign temperatures may rise at all???

Fog down here in West Sussex too, but freezing overnight :(
The pen is mightier than the sword (and a lot easier to write with!)

yes temps will rise............should be -5 in the morning rising to -1 by 12pm ;D

same here in manchester!!very foggy and -6!! ::) ::) no let up forecast until thursday.

daytime supposed to be hovering around the zero mark.ill be out working  every day until xmas eve even if its just for 4 hours or so.

just seen a late deal at centreparks so fink i might take me 2 year old away for a few days ibc solid block of ice got new r o unit n water softener to fit on van mount ionic system tomoz so can at least fill up van

Unfortunately, fog cannot be used as a guide as to whether the temperature will go up (or down) and more to do with outside temperature, the dew point,  humidity and a layer of cold air trapped underneath a layer of warmer air.

I'd be quite happy if it meant things were going to warm up. I did 4 jobs today and it was hell and I'm not looking forward to tomorrow.

Its not getting above -1 anywhere tomorrow so looks like another day watching Homes under the hammer etc. :(
