Lost a customer for a quid.!
« on: January 12, 2011, 10:01:42 pm »
Lost a customer as she has found someone who will clean for £1 cheaper,..

well, she text me to cancel until further notice,... her neighbour told me she had a leaflet , got a quote and accepted his cheaper price...

or he asked her my price and beat it ... seems like everyone is trying to offset the vat increases...

either way ...good bloody riddance.  ;)

so i may raise all my prices by 50p to combat the fuel price rise. ....lol.

sh*t happens mate, i put my prices up before christmas, think it was november, i had one of my custies saying that one of the neighbours was complaining about it, i put them up £1 for the first time in years, anyway the one she was moaning at said she had no issue in paying it as i was very very good at my job and they would struggle to get someone that good (her words not mine haha), anyway i knocked on monday for my money an the moaning custie cancelled blaming everything but the fact of the price rise. good riddance as she was a pain with dog sh*t everywhere

A quid is a lot to some folk right now, can't really blame the public for economising really, we all look for bargains when we can.

A few have asked me over the last 2 weeks, has it gone up? with sheer terror on their faces and when I reply no they are delighted, every penny counts at the minute.

"Risk everything"?  Why, what do you think the "thiefing pikey" is going to do?

My motto is this, if a custie cancels but then changes their mind a few months later then its defo a no no. I do make this crystal clear though at the time of them cancelling. If their new wc is rubbish or turns up late then  its tuf poope!!!

£12 a year is a lot for some folk, do you all not know it is the melt down of the economy for the end of the world in 2012  :P

You will happily drive past the petrol station you have been going to for years and go to the one further down the road if they are 1p a litre cheaper.

Whats the difference?
