is Mpower still being sold? i thought they had moved onto the new Fusionclean ( or fusion8 forgot which one)

I've just ran out of fusionclean so have started to use some Nemesis than I had left and can't say i've seen any difference both work well.

 Mpower is still being sold.
It has not replaced Fusion8 (which is for hwe - Fusion Clean is for rotary)

I use Nemesis and have used MPower - my opinion is that they are similar but I am not a chemist and do not know the formula of each.
Both work well for me, and both the same price per 5 litre but one has slightly better dilution rate.
One is 1:150, the other is 1:120
Putting that into perspective 1:150 is aout 7ml per 1000ml (1 litre)
the 1:120 is about 8.5ml per 1000ml.
That makes then both VERY economical to use.
Best as a prespray and hot (if your prespray container can take hot water), agitated, and 15 minute dwell.

I was doing some reading this weekend and one idea put forward by Dan kennedy was about "creating you own mystique" its these type of products that do that for you. they attract a type of person and if you aim your marketing to them it can can be an advantage.

if you are using these products why not do a website with some videos promoting the benefits of these products over others.

I see lots of carpet cleaners that use or have these type of products on their vans but only give small mention to them in their marketing.

If you look at all the different products in all the suppliers you can multiply this type of marketing.

I have done this with baby safe

as i have said you can apply this to many areas in carpet cleaning.

just a thought for you  :)

Its strange this Ian, you suggesting that we promote the fluids we use to give a unique selling point, and I agree.
Yet, "we" dont see it right that we promote "we" are a member of the NCCA, which can equally be a unique selling point- that they (NCCA) should do it all.
No one has heard of Nemesis nor MPower, just as a lot say no one has heard of NCCA.
Just my take on things.

fair comment,

the products have a direct benefit to the customer.

I don't think lately i said anything bad about NCCA just pointing out a better and more rounded association.

Joe if you look at what BICSc covers you will see what's missing from the NCCA it does NOT cover everything needed for a person that only cleans carpets, so it not a "totally different kettle of fish"

as an example what type of detergent is needed to clean soot out of a carpet?
you must have seen my site

http://piledoctors.co.uk/

This is the level of know how that's would benefit first cleaners and then customers. when and where are members learn about Chemical polarity? which accounts for more damaged carpet than any other factor.

Ian, I didnt meant to infer you have said anything against NCCA - just, rightly, you were pointing out how we should promote anything that makes us different to another cleaner.
I often talk about the fluids I use, how the majority of them are safe for the environment and therefore safe for us humans and pets.
I also promote I am the only only c/cleaner in the area at this moment that is a member of the NCCA.
I also promote that I use one of the most powerful portable c/cleaning machines available in the UK, and how the Scorpion has 3 vacuum motors, so "your" carpets should be cleaner, healthier and also dryer more quickly.
Everything I try to use to my advantage, but I dont expect John Kelly, Nick Vousden-White not the NCCA to be doing it all for me - its my business - I make it work to be what I want it to be within the resources I have available .

what's really exciting about this is that you don't have to name a product just the benefits. you could have two guys in the same area using the same product with different messages and they would both sound unique.

we got to get from this idea that people have that every carpet cleaner service is the same.
