If I fit a tap on the pole to turn the water off inbetween windows what effect does this have on the pump? Would be handy instead of wasting water or having to turn the flow controller on/off all the time.

Is that regardless of whether it is van mounted or fitted to a trolley? Can't see why there would be a difference.

ive got taps fitted on my poles which i use with trolley , van mount and backpacks when you turn the tap off the pump just stops until you turn the tap back on ive done it like this for around 3 years and not had a problem .
