hey Mark,
Started Awning cleaning back in July this year, 'was asked to clean some restaurant awnings by a  regular window cleaning Customer, was shy about it at first but after reading up on what chemicals techniques to use etc. I got more confident.
Like everything there's a right way and a wrong way to do it and it took me a little while to get it right. So now, so far so good -'need to promote it much more though amongst current and potential Customers ( pubs, hotels, restaurants etc.) Pricing is a learning curve but can typically be c.€100 for a standard large single Awning over a restaurant -( an hours work + a little more for an early start! )
Keep you posted, Ray

I did a butchers awning last week. I hit it with algea remover and wfp'd it next day. It took about an hour.

I got:-  8 sausages
            2 steaks
            1 chicken
            2 pork chops
            2 pork steaks
            2 burgers
            1 pound of mince
All I need to do now is the one for the veg shop next door, and its casserole city for me and the old lady  ;D
if it is dirty it is fair game

I clean a chip shop awning, the plastic type.

All I use is wfp with a vikan mono (red) and it comes up a treat. The guy they had doing it before used an applicator and squeegee. When I first got there it was filthy. Wfp sorted it and they comment how nice it looks now I'm doing it :)
