A business loan from the bank would be a lot cheaper

£3000 over 36 months at 6% flat (APR about 12% to 14%) would be £98.33 a month or £22.69 a week (monthly divided by 4.33333)

If you have ok credit rating then thats what bank should be offering.

My background is car sales / finance.

over 48 months be about £77.50 / £17.88

Hope it helps !  :)

Is it possible to use 0% credit cards and switch the loan to another 0% card when it's due to shoot up?

You'll be lucky to get a loan of 3k below 16% & you might not even get that unless you have the cream of criteria!

Dave's suggestion of credit cards is a good one but you may have a 3 to 4% fee initially & each time you change. This usually will still work out much cheaper than a loan from a high street bank.

Zopa have superb rates but again, you really do have to be the cream of the crop to get one. ;)

sorry quite correct £3000 is a low balance to finance ... rate possibly 8% flat and about 16-18% APR

so £3000 over 36 would be £103 or £82.50 over 48
