To provide a comprehensive general cleaning and window cleaning service
for communal areas at specified sites throughout the District of Warwick
in accordance with the specifications and in line with current Service
standards.
This will form part of our corporate strategy to improve housing services,
provide a high standard of environmental services by delivering a
sustainable and quality environment, by maintaining a clean and tidy
environment across the district providing a high standard of environmental
health. It is also our aim to make the district an attractive and safe
place to live and work.
The key end users of this service are our tenants and leaseholders, who
have worked closely with WDC to put together a set of service standards
which met their expectations. We are entering a period of consultation
across the district starting in April 2011 which will review these service
standards and involve the tenants and leaseholders at a higher level. This
is expected to take between eighteen (18) and twenty-four (24) months to
complete hence the duration of this contract.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for
economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). For the
avoidance of doubt, the contracting authority confirms that no weight will

advantageous tender.
