been told the seal in bearing head melts when using to hot water through whirlaway. i have a hot box with a a 13hp pt250 machine. if i use the throttle at full bore i should be ok but if i lower pressure and the water gets hottter i will no doubt melt the seal.

set the stat to 80 degrees, set the unloader to unload at 200 bar and you should be able to run at full bore. The deck will probably start to flex and melt before the seal melts. Did you get viton seals for your couplings ?

jan from tech clean sent me seals for the couplings she thinks they are the right ones for hot water.  i dont have a temp gauge its just a basic boiler with fuel switch.

You don't want it over boiling point as steam has little impact and its not just the fsc its the couplings etc
