Hi,

I was wondering what ladders you find best for inside cleaning.
Also a good place to buy.

Thanks, rob

I've only ever had two jobs which required large double extension ladders for the inside.  One of which I still do.

I just use my normal ladders!

There's allsorts of ladders available though; recently (was it in screwfix?) I saw a telescopic ladder that would fit in the boot your your car and safety tested to EN 131.

I think you need to specify for what type of job it is you're wanting them for.

Hi rob

Inside ladder work

Just the thought of it makes me shudder. :o

Whatever kind of ladder you use make sure it has good rubber feet or get a decent ladder stop. Some inside floor surfaces can be lethal.

Inside ladder work
I always use my rojak ladder stopper and if I can someone to foot.
Cautious man me.

If the risk can not be managed don't do it

Several years ago I used to clean the inside of one of the local Kwik saves..

After a refit took my ladders inside as usual, put them up... though they didn't look right but thought it must be me as I had done this many times before, As I went up the ladder they went from under me, Ooouch dead lucky I was (they had raised the floor level during the refit) inside laddders no more for me unless I have some one footing them..
The secret is not doing as you like but liking what you do

I have two jobs which i require ladders inside. One is an old victorian building with high celings and the other is for cleaning the inside of an conservertory roof.

I was thinking a pair of A ladders. Just want to make sure i get the right tool for the job. Don't want to end up on my arse!.

Cheers,
Rob
