I have been asked for the last 3 years to clean a womans house in a village which i clean the school. I have always said no as the school is only once a year. the village is too far away for a monthly visit on one house.

She called me a couple of months ago and said would I go over and clean hers if she got me another good quality job, seeing as she got me the school job I gave in and went over last month.

To cut a long story short I agreed to keep going but only if she could get me enough work to make it worth my while.
I went today, she had £200 of regular monthys lined up plus a £200 cladding clean 4 times a year.
1 days work on the monthlys and a half day for the cladding.

Result!!! Oh I have said she gets hers for free from now on  ;D

Fair play to you. You are a better man than me.
I wouldn't have said free cos after doing them half a dozen times and not getting paid, i would struggle to keep an interest and probably end up letting her down.  :)
