The only thing I can do is clean windows; so I try to price well and work hard when the weather lets me.  And take time off when it won't.

I'll clean in the rain, but I keep it sensible.

yes ... im just waiting on my taxi / private hire license to come from the council.

Can do this at night or if its raining too badly.

oh and Ive got 6 weeks of 3am starts working until 9am in a freezer wholesalers loading the vans.

All till the window cleaning pays its way ... which should be within 6 months  ;D

i think thats why they invented the xbox and playstation and of course the pub.

on a more serious note - we started saying yes to the customer who said do you know any good cleaners.

just took two houses on for 4 hours a week each so that it doesnt take up too much time when the weather is good, i make sure the customers let me clean when ever during each week so it fits nicely round the window cleaning ....

seems to be working well and has been going like that for the past year or so...

I just play around too - drink, smoke cigars, eat foie gras snort coke etc., shag tight-bodied women, but it don't pay much.

If the rain is light , i carry on.

if its steady, i clean con roofs and facias,

if its belting down , on and off... i drop leaflets ...

if its belting down non stop, i go home !
