We use the Exel Revolution mop heads and handles.  They go through the wash with the cloths just fine.

We get ours from www.allianceonline.co.uk  Haven't found them anywhere cheaper than this and can recommend the mops

My first moped was a Fantic super T - it was fast but unreliable  ::)

Sorry to jump in

Diane -   Do you know if those mop heads fit a standard screw on handle by any chance?  Just as I'm using my car I really want to use telescopic handles and none of the commercial suppliers seem to do them.

Thanks

Debbie

Hi Debbie

No, its a push on handle I'm afraid.  And why do you need a telescopic handle?  We just pop the handle on the back seat no problem and the mop heads are either clean and dry and in the bucket or they are used and in the dirty cloth bag.

Diane- Can you wash the mop heads in a normal washing machine or a commercial one, is it safe with the plastic bit on the mop head and that it wont crack the glass??????

Hi Jason

I wash mine in a domestic washer, no problems so far!

To be honest Diane I just figured as the handles I'm using at the moment are telescopic and fit in the boot of my car nicely I'd stick with them but if yours fit in the back seat then its not a problem.

Thanks

Debbie

Hi Dianne, I'm in the process of changing over to these mops on your recomendation!! How many washes can the mop heads stand before looking tired? I currently use the Vileda Professional haven't had a problem personally but after a few washes the heads look clean but  a bit shabby and tired and the staff do find it easy to snap the flimsy plastic push on fitting on the Handles, hence the change. Thanks Pauline

I find the flat mopping systems are much easier, and more efficient to use, and are especially useful in corners and edges etc. The microfibre mop heads are easily washed and will last for up to 500 washes.

Hi Pauline

I changed to these in March last year and I haven't thrown away a mop head yet.

I did lose a couple early on - there is a knack to getting them off - stand on the plastic bit and pull, don't stand on the mop or it will unravel!

Cheers
