Help with rugs
« on: July 09, 2010, 06:34:14 pm »
Doing 2 rugs next week that are a bit unusual, they are cream pile with brown suede effect swirls
through them.

Are these likely to be a problem. Is the suede effect likely to run for example and will the suede effect dry OK

Thanks

Wayne

How much are the rugs worth?  Are they machine made?

The "swirls" might be viscose, doubt they would be suede unless real exclusive (stupid) designer pieces.  You could probably extract them OK, but just spend a while grooming them with a soft brush after cleaning and again after drying.

Decent photos would help ;)

Don't forget rugs do like to shrink, best warn them that this could happen
