i only waited 3 working days for my 25ft hydra alloy.great rigid pole compared to my glass fibre jobbie!!

i changed the pole hose to streamline 5 mm and supalite brush replaced the brodex brush.

these wont go to waste though as brodex brush is on my short pole and the pole hose will be good for conny roof cleans on my unger pole! ;) ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!

I visited this company last July when i was visiting from Joburg.  Im from Preston
originaly so it was only 30 mins up the road.
The kid salesman who spoke to me hadnt a clue about any of the products.
I never even got offered a cup of tea.
Total time spent no morer then 10 mins.
Compare this with a Chinese company and they will bend over backwards to accomodate  ;D
I have bought from Brodex quite some time ago  for export to South Africa.
However I shall carry on with Gardiners who IMHO give a good service.

Gardiner’s will give Better service than Brodex but they both have cheap products with Brodex having the edge on quality over Gardiner’s stuff.

I realise that Ewan but its inpossible to purchase better kit, the air freight alone can add up to 35% on the price.  I try and keep up to date with suppliers and now purchase pumps from China, Its just something I have to do but I would rather support the UK if possible.

Colin, are the freight charges you speak of 1 package (whatever kg) and by airmail - delivery in 4 days or so?
Because sometimes when i'm feeling flush and nostalgic, i send food parcels abroad to mates from the past. And the freight can be cheaper by breaking parcels up into smaller parcels and being sent individually.
Any postmaster worth their salt will get their calculator and price lists out and spend 5 minutes working out permutations. Won't help you over there of course. But there are savings to be made from posting here abroad.

This thread has been revived by IONIC, lost a few sales have we boys?  strange the scouser comments come in, clearly malicious, enough said, window cleaners on here need to grow up.

It makes me laugh that eveyone comments on how good a company is in southport close to Brodex and then you all say scouse wannabe's from southport!!!!

Hilarious,
