Me too,
My son is dyspraxic and has ADD. Its bad enough trying to get a job when you are 'normal' but just try it when you have special needs.
All your mates that run businesses that could use him are 'full up' or 'not really mate' and all you want is a job just packing or chucking boxes around that would give him a sense of well being, he comes out with me when we can and hes a good worker.
Hes just done 1 day a week 15 weeks work experience with Tesco, helping out in the Warehouse, stacking shelves etc etc, and when he left they gave him a couple of boxes of cider and a card signed by all the staff. The look on his face when he came home. I had to leave the room I was filling up.
To be fair I have just been round our local employment agencies, Reed etc with his CV. They say they may be able to help as they are coming up to their busiest time of the year, you have to tell them of special needs for Insurance purposes, so we will see what happens.
