Done a few of these and was wondering if Im missing a few tricks ?

The way I do them is to start with the gutters .. Im only cleaning the black / green algae or dirt of them not scooping the crap out of them (only cos no ones asked for that yet) I use my WFP with purified water and spray the gutter first with TFR if I can access it by ladder.

Then connect my pole to the outside tap and do the conny roof with the TFR/ Eco Truck Wash a max of 3 panels at a time so TFR dont dry out .. then do the sides and finish off by cleaning all the windows.

A 4 bed house and med sized conny takes me about 5 hours and really knakers me out so any tips to speed things up would be appreciated

Gutters and Fascias
I connect the outside tap to my old pole that i use for Con roofs and gutters. Nice high presuure and scrub it. I never use TFR as dirt always comes off easy. Once I scrubbed the whole width of the house I then attach a trad applicator onto an extension pole and dry the gutters and fascias. I do this because I find if you leave it to dry naturally you will get dirty spots here and there on it. It only takes a few minutes to dry and applicator is good for reaching behind drainpipes that your wfp didnt reach. For a 20' wide house this would normally take around 30 minutes from start to finish.

Con roofs (polycarbonate roofs)
Before you start to dry the gutters/fascias soak the whole con roof with TFR. Then connect the tap water to your con brush and turn up the flow to full. Scrub it well.Do one side of the con roof, then the other side. Then go back and rinse first side, then second side this should take about 30-45 minutes.

Glass roof
I personally dont use TFR in case it damages the coating that is on self cleaning glass. I just use tap water as above but then rinse with pure water to remove water marks.  I find Glass roofs take a bit longer than the polycarbonate roofs.

When you do the sides of the conservatory I always clean the gutters (outside only) but wipe dry to avoid the dirty water marks I mentioned on the gutters/fascias.

As a guess I would expect to take 60 minutes for front and back gutters fascias, 45 minutes for roof and 30 minutes for house and sides of con. Total 2 hours 15 minutes but think in reality 2 hours should do it and that would be a good job.

Hope that helps

Usually start from the top - finnials - then work my way around the roof then gutters and finally wash the windows.

always spray on tfr in advance ( 3 to 4 panels ) average clean is around 1 hr

some 'spines' can take a bit of scrubbing - i reapply tfr and do them again.

fan jets have helped - i also connect to custy water supply.

i have also found standing on steps a great help as you can see better and angle the pressure down onto the roof.

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

when i do gutters i use a scoop to clean out then wash out with a lance,  then spray with tfr and leave 5 mins and power wash off,  best bit of kit i bought,  never had any complaints off it

when i do conny roofs,  i spary tfr all over the roof and brush clean,  than i use my power washer on a low setting and wash it all off then use a pole to finish the glass off

I charge more on connies that have a flat angle pitch on the roof and a bit less if the pitch is steep.Flatter rooves take more time as the water does not flow off easly.

cleewindows

i do the same way but to dry gutters i tie a microfibre cloth onto my brush works a treat!
