Rinsing off is putting a lot of strain on my back. I've read a few posts about rinsing on the glass. How do you guys rinse on and not cause spotting?
Wash the window as normal. Go back to the top and starting from one edge twist the pole so that the leading end of the brush is still on the frame/glass and the trailing edge is lifted off so that the water jet rinses the frame/glass AFTER the brush has passed by. Rather like a dog p*****g on a lamp post. When you get to the other side, twist the pole the other way and draw the brush back again, a little lower down the pane exactly as you would if you were lifting the brush off. With a little practise you can achieve exactly the same effect as rinsing off, i.e. the last thing to touch the glass/frame will be the jets of pure water so any contamination from the bit of the brush still on the glass/frame is rinsed away by the flow of water behind the brush.
