157 at present, with 5 more almost guaranteed (phoned me to price up/clean when next in area).
 I started cleaning in November,Only sort of part time ish at moment as I have my kids regularly, They will all be at school as of September, So will be trying for full time then.

depends what the average price of your work is  , the higher the average- the lower number of customers you will have.

Can I ask why the huge decline?

We ourselves do not have many window cleaning customers, but the buildings we clean are fairly large and take at least a day some several with a few workers.

Big cull of council houses sold 800 off. All were very cheaply priced £4-5 per house. 

Now we turnover double what we were getting cleaning the 1250. 

So basically we just re structured the businesses to bring in more money for less work/houses.

I used to have about 500 as well.  I was an even busier fool then than I am now.  Many of the 500 were "not today thanks", "switch to twice a year please", "don't do them if I'm out" types.  I can't believe the stuff i used to put up with many years ago.  The truth was that I needed 500 custies just to put enough work together for an income.  I ran it all like that without computer as well (it was a long time ago).
I wised up though.  I make more money from about 250 reliable customers plus a bit of subby work than I did from 500.  It was a long time ago but I didn't take pruning shears to the round - more like a hatchet.

I have 298 domestic 15 commercial would probably like more but i am not to fussed about it.
