spinning clamp is tight but looks like it has come off the inside pole.
havent a clue what happened or how to fix it anyone had same problem?
 i ordered a clx 2 days before but have to wait till the end of june to use it

Remove the sections then the clamp will slide off, as tomy says , araldite the inside of the clamp and push it back on

Had the same problem myself... whatever they use to fix the clamp to each section of pole is crap. This is what i do...

Use a stanley knife to mark the bottom of the clamp on the pole. Using araldite, paste it half way between the top of the pole and where the marker is (not too thick) then put the clamp back into place. Use some kitchen roll to wipe off and excess araldite off the pole.

Leave it over night and by the morning it will have set ready for the days work ahead. You wont have any problems with it slipping after that

I thought about that, but its a pain in the ass. It took them long enough to send my poles out when i first bought them. I couldnt wait two weeks for it to be fixed.

This way i knew it wouldnt fail again.

It was for me anyways. i had a couple of issues with mine but they have been sorted by them no questions asked. You can't say fairer than that.

The only problem with repairing the pole yourself is that if Brodex wanted they could argue the point that you may have invalidated any warranty.
Just call them and explain the situation.I have their poles and would be straight onto them if that happens to me,that is why they have a three year warranty on the poles.

Invalidated the warranty by gluing a clamp back on :

It's a 5 min job at most and that includes drying time, if you'd rather be without the pole for days and days then send it back for repair.

they will send you a whole new section out. just repair the knackered one to keep you going

They wont argue.

I bought loads off them in December, they sent me 2 bare poles so if I had any problems I could swap it out without losing any work they have replaced any problems I have had.

They get a bit of a bashing on here, and I'll admit that they have a habit of bull****ing, but I have yet to see any other supplier who offers any thing like Brodex's value for money.

I'm going to have a go at fixingat the weekend and change that useless black hose as all it does is knot up.

Had mine about 6 months now. Had to glue two of clamps back on which was only a 5 min job. I've also changed hose because one that was supplied with it was ending up like a ball of spagetti after every job which used really pee me off and slow me down.

We had a gooseneck snap on us, Brodex sent a replacement out foc got it two days later
