Can anyone let me know if there is any connections to fit an RO system to an ordinary garden hose.
It comes with all the fitting bits to connect to a mains water pipe but i want to run it outside from the outside tap.
I think the system has an 8mm pipe so is there any adapter i can get so it fits a garden hose.
I want to get this going so i can start practicing as i have a couple of jobs next week i need this wfp for. (As you can tell i'm new to WFP)

i got my r/o from gaps water and they sold me a push fit on one end and a screw fitting on the other end just like the one that is on most garden outside taps.

sorry sounds complicated but talk to gaps water they were very helpfull.

Its the little gadget that I think squeaky- clean 1 was on about.

I use one to connect my RO unit to the outside tap (Just screws on). If you need to run a hose out first you may need to put together a couple of Hozelock connectors to get the right fitting

Hi just looked at the adapter.
I got my RO from Ro-man.
So the pipe from the RO will fit straight into this adapter? Is that right?
I was thinking of running it from a Garden hose as i am not sure if the water after it is filtered will get contaminated if left outside in the waterbutt?

I have a water butt outside for storage (the large green, garden variety you can get from most garden centres) and I have sealed the lid itself on with silicone caulk.

Been using it over 18 months now and no problems with water purity.

mine is in front of my garage and its in a water butt, the times its in the butt (2 weeks when i went on holiday) the TDS didnt rise at all

Been all over today trying to get an adapter but had to order it off the net in the end.
At least i know now it's ok to leave the water outside, takes up too much room inside.
