Surging flat surface cleaner
« on: May 29, 2010, 12:15:50 am »
Hi
I am new to drive cleaning, and have started up with an old Karcher HDS hot machine, we had knocking around, Save on cash. I have a problem with it when using my FSC. I find that it will work for 30 seconds and stop for 30 seconds and start again, yet it works fine with my turbo lance. Any one got any ideas? Also has anybody tried the FSC with a the vacuum attachment?
thanks

Hi chriss
try giving it a grease then turn it on its side pull the trigger for a while it possible you could have blocked jets just order some new ones and get some spares give them your litres  per minute they must match your machine hope it helps

Hi Mark
have you used your surface cleaner with the vac attachment just wondering about dragging a 2in vac pipe around
also dos it seems to grab the surface if you know what I mean
all the best Mark

baldbrummy
I would think the vac attachment would be quite obvious

when you say it works for 30 second then stops for 30 seconds what actually stops? the flow or the FSC spray bar stops spinning.

i would guess your machine doesn't have the flow rate to use a FSC.

Hi Mark yes i understand the reason for the vac attachement i just cant see the point of it with your vac attached you would fill it up in no time thus have to keep stopping to empty it, if you can find a drain nearby.
am i making sense now  ;)
