Contact the residents and ask them for payment, they will be so embarassed they will sort the manager out.

tricky, like aj said contact the residents,  but it depends on who brought u in, are u employed by the manager to clean the windows for the esctate and its sort of like a service charge he charges them then payes you, if so then u wil ahve to take it up with the manager

if the residents brought u in and then pay him to amke it easier for you, just get the money straight from the residents

you dont always have to do that,a tight handshake and a stare always seems to work.
perhaps have a hammer in your hand or a screwdriver can help!

I was so fed up with one company i did work for, that i caught them unawares by walking into the office without knocking and said " I need a cheque for these 3 invoices" then quoted the invoice numbers.

After alot embaressing faces, when they pretended not to know where the cheque book was, i eventually left with the cheque, never went back and 2 months later they went bust owing money to other businesses.

Whoever doesnt stand their ground and demand it, will just lose it, dont be fobbed off constantly with their excuses.  >:(
