i should get all my gear by tuesday! :D :D

i will be getting a 30ft slx at a later date and maybe a clx as well(spare!)

not tried those brushes but i use a xtel pole 3ft shorter than yours for most of my work and have no problems with it. I`l upgrade at a later date but to get started with they`re fine. i`ve been wfp since january so still learning really.

as you know Dazmond i am a newbie with very much to learn. But 1 thing i learnt very quickly was not to get an xtel pole!!
I have got a 17 foot xtel with a vikan brush on, I hated it from the start, It bends like a banana and weighs quite a bit compared to my lovely 25 foot slx, maybe a lighter brush than a vikan would help, But I for one will never buy another. I use it on con roofs only now, but am almost considering ditching it for that and just using my slx (worried if the TFR will affect my brush though for window cleaning.

the xtel is probably lighter than an unger,i don't honestly know. perhaps if i had only ever had my xtel i would be happy with it as i would not know any different, I am just spoilt with my SLX.

no its just as bendy  ;D, with a sill brush on you will probably snap pole when attempting windows over conservatory roof's ect, when pole is at full stretch.

I have both extel and an unger pole and they are just as heavy as each other.
personally I wouldnt have a sill brush on a glass fibre pole as it will bend because of the weight of the brush.

nevermind ive bought it now!im sure it will be ok for a first pole.i wont be extending it fully for most of my present work and i think ill just stick with the vikan rectangle brush and use the sill brush when i get a pole with better rigidity(slx/or any carbon fibre pole!).

only one more day to go before i get my hands on my new gear!! :D :D :D :D

Take no notice Dazmond, I have a 24ft extel with a vikan sill brush on it, yes it is heavy, yes it does bend like a banana, does it do the job yes!!

My advice is try it for youself and then make your own mind up based on your own experience.  ;)
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.
