Andy I see you tell your customers about the other services you provide on that slip, would you say that works?

Hi mate,

Yes it has been working well... I've had a lot of customers send the slip back with their cheque and they have ringed the service they are interested in and asked for a quote...

i have just started this too about 3-4 weeks ago and it does work well, have booked in a couple of pressure washing jobs and a gutter clean from them. I leave little boxes at the bottom of my slip ( got the idea from a member on here who put there slip up) and the customer just ticks the service they are intersted in.

no offence but i think this one is a little "busy" i think bit too much goin on and looks a bit complicated nice idea just think simplify it a little and it may work better.

Some good ideas here. We usually use the old post it tabs (Yellow ) with "Your windows have been cleaned on day month year". So will change a few things now.

I like yours too, Andy.  I don't put a date or time on mine anymore; though I did used to put a date.

But I'd be at work, clean my first house and go to leave a 'chit' and I couldn't remember what the date was and it all seemed like too much 'trouble', so I missed it off and I've not had any problems with that.

I also advertise my other services on my 'chit', but I particularly like the way you can direct your customers to your website in a sort of oblique manner, where you could push your other services more directly; and it also probably adds to your professional image in the eyes of your customers.

I'm going to copy!  ;D

I've always left a receipt/invoice for work done, date, price and job description.

It's then their responsibility to pay, not mine to tell them when they might have another visit from me to collect!  Never collected.
