What paperwork for commercial work ??

Ive heard of a method statement and a risk assessment but do you need these on all commercial work ??

and what are they ?? are there any examples downloadable from web ??

Do you know, in almost twenty years of window and contract cleaning, from small jobs straight through to daily cleans in schools and night clubs, we have NEVER been asked to produce any form of paperwork. No risk assesments, not even our insurance. The only thing we've ever been asked to do is a CRB check for the school work :)

same here!never been asked for any of the above!they get a printed invoice and i get a cheque in the post or cash!! ;) ;D ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!

health +safety policy on one big job also had to up insurance to 5mil

I'm rarely asked for the documentation but I ALWAYS provide it as part of my quotes. It sets my company's quote apart from the rest & I often get positive feedback because of it.

The last place I picked up the owner of the factory wanted everything under the sun and more. Got to the stage I was gonna bin bothering. Only perservered because it's worth the aggro. All sorted now so should keep it like the previous window cleaner who had it 16 years and just retired, hence why I got it now :)
