Hi Everyone,
Just joined up and been reading through the threads, theres' some really useful information. I'm just joining a mate of mine in the trade (he's been working for about four months). We are looking to buy more work and would like some advice from yourselves on what's good price for a round and what to look out for so we don't get ripped off?
Can anyone give us any advice please? :D

Hi Mate
I have only been on cleanitup a few months but i have learned a lot from the different threads.
You will find a lot of differing opinions about buying work. Lots of people seem to be selling rounds for anything up to 5 times what it is worth.
As long as you speak to most of the customers if you do buy a round before handing over money I dont think you can get ripped off.
Mind you there is loads of work about and I wouldnt buy any work unless it was really good stuff. i.e established and good prices. you can canvass whatever you need in most areas. Unless of course you are trying for world domination and then something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Hope thats a start.
p.s I would not touch fresh (Newly canvassed) work
Bradley.

Thanks for the heads up and I'll keep reading all the info on the threads, haven't canvassed myself yet but got to face it soon if I want to make some money!!
