That's very good.  I had to pay about 350 for 5 million a few years back and I needed 5 million because that was one of the requirements for the job.

Do you need 10 million for similar type work?

a lot of commercial now require it
any thing between 5million and 10million  :)

Is this is a legal requirement? We are going to get it, but is it worth getting from the very start?

Yeah that makes sense. I suppose it could turn out more expensive not getting it. Thanks Tosh, appreciate it.

most of my commercial work now require pl insurance
they wont pay out on a broke window because of the excess ie £250 you have to pay

it is just covering their backs getting  rid of the dead wood  ;D

they wont pay out on a broken windy cause..
1. people would use this 2 there advantage.
2. its the most common item 2get damaged 4a window cleaner.
they aint getting my money. ive not had ins. 4 say 12 years or so. at say £100per year.
ive not broken a window in 12years, so in my eyes ive saved  £1200 ;D

Its not the broken window, it's what happens if someone gets injured by the broken glass i.e. in the eye with long term serious damage, big bucks claim!! You can get a basic policy for about 70.00 quid with 1 million cover. Well worth it me thinks!
