Title: Large shop front windows
Post by: Chris Cottrell on July 11, 2005, 05:09:37 pm
Hi everyone

this subject has been air'd before i know but i cant find it
so ere we go again

I have just been asked to quote for the front windows of a bank in the high street, 2 off 3m x4m panes ,1 door & 1 small  glass above the door inside & outside weekly

I've seen mentions of £10:00 per large glass so to quote £40:00 per week seems a lot !!!! :-\

has anyone any thoughts for a newbie

thanks in advance

I cannot imagine that they would pay £40, work out how long you think it would take and base your price on that most try to earn at least £20 an hour. If you do any similar jobs try to work a price out using that, but by the sounds of it, it is no more than 30 minutes work.

Does this mean you got the job? If not let us know when you hear. Good luck with it anyway.

Well done! I reckon it will be fine and once you get used to the layout it won't take long at all, let us know how you get on.
