Got the contract to remove chewing gum from the playground at our local school. Sourced the machine I wanted - had to discount a couple as they could not deliver in time for half term when I`m doing it, but was assured that this machine would be delivered on time for half term. Several phone calls and two emails to make sure the machine would be delivered on time - "yes shouldn`t be a problem".
Phone up on Friday as its half term on Monday and guess what - "sorry machines arn`t coming in til the end of the month!"
To say I wasnt happy is an understatement. They did offer to drop a demo machine half way between me and them but at 11 oclock on monday so by the time I got back to the school, I would have lost half a days work so I had to drive 100 miles to the companies warehouse to pick up the demo only to find they did not have the correct brass nozzles. You couldnt make it up could you. They had 1 gallon of gum removal fluid and the old gum soiled brass brush it had on there.
If that was a customer of mine, I would have made sure by hook or by crook that the machine would be delivered to me in full working order. I wont name names but what a shambles of a company. They know who they are.

Was it the same place where you got your machine from?
If I'd have known I could have lent you the mother in law and she'd had melted it off with her tongue :o

Personally i think you should name & shame this company Clive. Gives other people chance of avoiding them if they wish too.
