Customer won't be bothered about how far you have to travel, but you will have to take a chance on getting it added into the quote.
Someone around here using a truckmount is pricing commercial at £1/m and their service is good.
I'd be reluctant to go higher than £1.50 and that's using a rotary.
But stand by for answers on here which will say that some get £4/m which you will have to be a top salesman to achieve.

I agree with Neil & Colin here . Another thing you have to take into consideration is how long will it take you . I find with commercial jobs that it works out to about £50/hour .  Would you be happy with £50/hour ?

we did a job same size not long ago and quoted at 375 including our travel expences but did the job for 340 and customer was over the moon as they have been guoted 550 before us.

Depends on the area etc, the carpet we did was expensive one costed previous owner good few grand so it costed them fourth of the cost if they was to replace it and they was happy that we could do it for that price, but then again you could get some one with cheap acky carpet and is not worth bothering with as they will not pay more than £1 per sqm as they could probably get a new one for 1.50-2.00 sqm

As said already price it for what its worth to you.145 sq m isnt a big job in itself , the problem is 2 hrs travel time.
Again depends w hat system you are using- LM good open spaces could be done in 2 - 2 1/2 hrs.
Portable could take 3-4 hrs.
So try and work out how much you want/ need to do the job and shove a price in.

Hi guys

Thanks for the replys went in at two pound a square metre didnt get it.

They were impressed by by quotation and my presentation, but not enough to give me the job got beat by fifty quid

Didnt want at that price any way and i do mean that, rather stay closer to home for the same money.

Did warn you!
That's the nature of commercial. You can talk, sing and do a slide show but the cheapest wins in the end.
