Hi guy's

Got a bit of a problem
Iv bought a new hydra(brodex)alloy pole and it came with a gooseneck...
Now i would like to change it to a angle adapter, just for the simple reason it would suit my needs more ;)

Ask for an adjustable angle adapter.
Hiya jeff,
So they do 1 then mate,eh?
Nice one,its not the normal fitting tho mate,it would have to be a verry small male thread 1 end (to attach to pole)and normal size male thred the other(to connect brush head)

Thanks jeff ;)

Hiya allan mate ;)
What a nightmare dude, why have diffrent fittings, ::)
I find the gooseneck is sound for upstairs windows, probaly better than angle, but for lower windows,i also tilt my brush to the side to clean downstairs windows from the side & need to change angle now & again........

Belive this or not i ended up buying a BRODEX hydra pole from cleaningspot because it was CHEAPER from them :o :o :o :o :o :o

Work that 1 out guy's,a brodex pole cheaper from another cleaning company!!!
Plus i got free next day delivery!!!!!!
Brodex took over a week to post my last pole..................

Anyway guys take care & thank you!!

I purchaesd three poles and a 14" gooseneck,to fit my gooseneck I had to unscrew the thread off one of the poles and screw in the gooseneck, you need to get the joiner that is threaded both sides to fit a normal plastic angle adapter,it just screws into the pole and has a wider thread the other side for your angle adapter, hope this helps ;)

CNC,

Ive never seen a Hydra pole so this may not work - but if the screw end of the adapter mentioned above will fit into your pole why not just make an adapter out of 2 of these, 1 screws into the pole and the other screws into the brush!

Hi al mate....Good thinking dude!! ;)
Talked to clenspot today, they phoned bk,so on....
Anyway they bin onto brodex and they going to sort a adapter out...£10.00(ish) ::) sent it to cleanspot then on to me.....YIPEE......
They said(cleanspot) theres no way of changing the end of pole, its dedicated to the gooseneck...EH??? :o
they even asked me if i could use another one of MY poles to clean downstairs windows....THE BALLS OV IT....LOL ;D
Anyway now they going to give customers the choice on website before you purchase........wish they ov thought ov that first....

Big "THANK YOU" to all you guy's who posted on this thread....ya all sound & good to talk to you all ;) ;) ;)

Take care & kindest regards

The collar you have will accept the double screw in thread for an angle adapter, you don't need to take the collar off as it's glued to the pole, the double threaded piece screws into your collar,it's not on their website but they do them . :)
