For the last few years i have been mainly commercial after selling a large residential round.
Last week one of my well off commercial customers asked if i could clean his house as he has just sacked his own cleaner for as he says being crap.
I feel a bit bad because since then he has contacted his neighbours and 6 of them want me to start!!
I don't like treading on toes (residential) but these are well priced and handed to me on a plate.
Your thoughts please?

Clean them :P :P :P

Well if you dont do it someone else will. If its not the stuff you sold I can't see the problem. Youv'e not undercut anyone, they've all sacked the guy cos he does a poor job.

I guess customers should have a good service, if 6 don't want him he must be poor, i have never lost one for being crap nevermind 6.

I would say if you can do a good job and the old w/c cant, then get yourself in there mate. They obviously arent happy with him .....

Thanks commercially i am ruthless but i felt a bit bad for this chap as i guess he has done them for a while.

I could understand if he had done a first clean with wfp and didnt explain to the customers what might happen after a first clean, but if he continually does a bad job then really its his own fault?

Chances are he`s a nightmare customer lol. ;D ;D

Believe me many that i have taken on due to this excuse are a pain in the harris pole lol, people like this don`t want a regular WC they just want you to clean them once a year, they more than likely thought that every 2 months was way to often or something similar to that.

if he was a bad custy hed be one on the comershial ,go and wash em and stick a beter price in , ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ive cleaned his offices for the past couple of years, he's a sound customer so no probs there.

you didnt go looking for the work the customer has decided to use your service instead i dont see a problem with that if he worked for you and was no good would you keep him on coz you felt sorry for him?

If you dont clean them, you may find the commercial guy might find another cleaner to do his house, and then do his commercial unit - where are you going to be left?
Get on and do the commercial units place at least, stick your prices up a bit for the other places, so at least if you do them, you get good money.
If anything is said about why your not charging the commercial guy that much, then say its a favour because you do other work for him.
Depending on what they do for aliving you could end up getting some more commercial work, for a slightly reduced home cleaning.
