Title: what size ladder again!!

what size ladders do i need to get to gutters on a normal size house some one said 4.1 and got the ladder and just about gets me to the first floor window lol  ???

You need a 3.5m to 4m double extension ladder. They will extend to around 6 / 7 metres. More than enough for a standard house.

Im after a 9.5 metre one, however im waiting till after ive done my ladder and iosh MS course.

Not sure to go with a "a" frame or a trojan trade alu triple ext. They ring in pretty much the same cost.

Carl my small point gets to gutters on single story's easy. best all round ladder money can buy!!!

 but if your buying a new one I'd go for the same size as the big points, you know the ones I mean. they dont only reach 1st floor gutters but the apex of the gables for washing down.

lets face it, you only need a ladder for balcony's, insides and gutters coz there's no chance of finding you on the top of a ladder to clean outside windows.
