Chris from what i interpret from that pic and tech spec, is that the monitor is powered by 9v batters which is ideal. However looking at the camera there is a transmitter (obv for wireless signal to be sent to monitor) however the other wire that comes out of the ass of the thing looks like a mains cable........not 100% but just check it out before commiting to buy.

The one Chris is looking at is powered by mains at the camera and again at the monitor. it can be adapted though with some fiddling.
-
This is the type I use, it has a spare camera but I bought it on special offer at £99

Just had a quick look for Chris and your ok to get that one.
The plugs that come out of them are terminated at a small 12v Jack socket, into this socket you plug in your power supply into the mains, keep the power supply to one side and make up your own leads (all the bits are available from maplins) bits you'll need, Jack plug to fit the Jack socket, on the other end solder a 9v battery terminal and a small length of cable.
Make a lead up for your camera and another for your monitor, take care about polarity connections, the correct polarity will be indicated on the power supply's you put to one side.
Also the Jack plugs for the camera and transmitter will be different sizes the monitor jack should be the same size as your camera.

Camera draws 9v but the monitor draws 12v

Camera draws 9v but the monitor draws 12v
All electronic components have a tollerence of +/- 3v the monitor will run from a 9v battery but the current drawn is higher, so take a couple of batteries with you or get a bigger one, some handy size 12v batteries are available at Maplins.
