Title: Suspended ceiling cleaners
Post by: Kev R on May 17, 2008, 12:17:37 am
What do you guys use for your suspended ceiling (acoustic tile) cleaning chemical wise?

Has anybody tried the one-step ceiling cleaner?

Thanks

Kev

It would be best not to take them down very carefully, lay them out out side and clean them with a turbo nozzle at full pressure -needless to say I don't offer this service  :'( :'( :'( :'(. If I was to be serious I'd skip them and replace with new

In the USA cleaning suspended ceilings and acoustic tiles is very popular and in fact its much more common than replacement.

Cleaning can cost as little a 20% of replacement costs and 50% less  if restored. Also replacing a whole ceiling is very dirty, time consuming and costly, not to mention the environment.  Down time is minimized with cleaning and the results can be impressive.

I'm fairly new to it but so far its going well.  Getting the information is the hard bit. Nick at Solutions has been really good. He has some good products too  ;D
