;D I work a reasonable size new house developement in Tewkesbury as part of my round....imagine my delight when talking to the contractors to discover they are building another 400 homes there in phase 2 and 3 over the next 4 years.....(which means eventually I can pass on the other outlying ones that are further away !)......sorry, not meant as a wind up...just wanted to share... :)

hi there.
well just imagine the following,
the east anglian development council ( i think thats the correct name) have rubberstamped 498,000 new homes over the next 20 years.
milton keynes 3000 new homes each year for the next 20 years
northamptonshire 5000 new homes for i think the next 5 years
there is so much business out there, go and get it.
and the business i'm in "new house build cleans"
fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
good luck

shame we destroy all the green feilds and such :(

hi there,
but the new PPG3 planning guidelines, means that they are not destroying quite as much as they are having to pack more houses into a smaller area.

i live on a green belt area, the area was NEVER to be built on, funny we now have 1400 houses and another 800 being built next year :(
i know i am a hypocriate as i live in 1 of them, BUT hey

I live in a greenbelt area too, unfortunately the country's growing population has to be housed, and that means more houses :-\ which means more work for us ;D
In our area at least, they get over the fact that houses may well be smaller in regards they are they cover, but they are building them taller instead, this of course makes them more expensive to clean ;)
And as I use WFP I am in the perfect position to capitalise on it ;D
