Title: LARGE OFFICES
Post by: cleanimperial on February 25, 2008, 12:36:37 pm
Hi all

Would you say it is more difficult to get the larger office contracts
than the smaller ones or just luck of phoning or sending a mail shot at the rite time.

I have been sending letters introducing our company to large offices but no luck  yet.
How would you go about this.

Thanks

hi there

it all depends what you are defining as large compared to small.

hi there

make sure that you offer a professional service,

when you call them get the name of the decision maker.

when you are asking the questions ask when their contract is up for remewal,

then contact them 3 months before the renewal date, cause some cleaning companies have an auto renewing contract if the client does not terminate the contract 3 months before the anniversary of the contract.

it is a dodgy clause but believe me, it works, client retention due to contract terms.

so then when they are reviewing their contract you can quote.

one method is when you ask  when the contract is up if it is say in March, ask them if they know how much notice they have to give, nine times out of ten they will then check.

there are a lot of companies with this renewal term, be aware of it.

martin
