I've arranged a meeting with them on Tuesday to find out more about them. Anyone had any experiences of them?

Hi Alan
Look at www.fsb.org.uk. you will find the prices on here. They are based on how many employees you have.

Thanks Karl. Not sure whether it's what we need, but I'll see what they have to say.

We've got free banking anyway (Alliance & Leicester), but free legal advice might come in handy in the future, and I'm always interested in discounts.

Hi Karl,

Still in our first year of our business. We've had some ups and downs, as we all do, but I'm glad I took the step to set up my own business. I'll never go back to working for someone else again.

Been a member of Fed of Small Business for at least 12 years now,
They do a very good Newsletter, part of which keeps you updated with recent legislation type of things - what you may normally miss.
Free legal advice - needed this seriously couple of years ago (wonky worker). There wasa dedicated solicitor appointed to me that I could ring and ask for advice (whats the next step, can I do this or that etc).
Coop Bank are there main sponsors so free banking with them. I was a Coop banker before they became sponsors and was paying bank charges. Phoned Coop Bank up - gave them membership details and free banking set up.
Local area meeting (not into that) supposedly good for networking.
Many othe rthings too.
Cost me about £80 per year, but does depend on no of employees etc
