You might think me a bit shallow  ;) but I may have stumbled upon a way to increase your tips.
I was out collecting last night and one of my customers gave me a nice bottle of red wine as a christmas tip, it was a fair walk back to the van and I only had 5 more customers in that street so I held onto the wine till I was done collecting.
3 of the 5 saw the wine, made some comment  and promptly gave me a nice tip as well.
Now I am not suggesting anything here but.........  ;)

we are facing our busiest two weeks, and rest assured i expect two weeks of long hours and hard work..  and then party after that. the week commencing 20th december should be easy.

my old grand dad (god rest his soul) used to drive a bus on day trips for people, he allways said, put a empty box with tips on it as they got out, and you got NOTHING, put a box with loads of coins in, and YOU Got LOADS

it works

Not true.
I got £1 off a shop today and I have a cute florist who always gives me a bunch of roses.
Will I spoil the illusion if I asked her for cash do you think?

The only tip I can give don’t call round for your money if you do our windows the wife is really peeved off, a chit has been left window cleaning done? I got the full blast when I got home have to say no and it hasn’t been raining nor is there any building work being carried out locally!

Lady says I give you something extra for doing all the frames. (We always do them and  have done them every month anyway))

Large 5 bedroom house in exclusive area and the job is an old one that is under priced at £15.

We're also thinking about maybe a Christmas tip.

After we've finished the lady gives us 50p extra. Seriously - 50p.

I don't think that we will be doing her windows next year.
