Post by: brownie on November 05, 2004, 09:47:01 pm
got a ticket today whilst round the back of a pair of semis.....came back and had a ticket on me car
have to park in front of the houses due to min hose layout over pavement.any other human being would have used common sense and asked how long i would be.he must have seen i was at work yet he or she issued it me whilst i was round the back....how sneaky....it really cheesed me off......DO YOU THINK I SHOULD APPEAL  on grounds of h+s cause i could not have hose running over the pavement up the road.......then again i should have used my trolly.......i bet they were bullied at school
the customers said they would write a statement for me
my car and trailer was half on and half off lines....have i a chance.......cheers brownie

No chance after my experience..... Got a call from school one of me sons suspected broken arm, down to A&E at hospital couldnt get parked in grounds of hospital due to shoppers parking, so parked in car park over road (Disc Zone) forgot about disc while rushing to get him to the hospital, after waiting 2 & half hours came out and ticket on screen. Phoned to explain and told if i got a covering letter saying we were in A&E they would look at it.............. Pratts said no disc is serious and i had to pay ...... Morons........Got his name off ticket and if he phones wanting anything done it will be plus £40 , or if council want anything done ditto.................
Feel better for that............ But best of luck getting it chucked out...

Bysee bye

Steve

Hi

There are so many wardens around now it reminds me a little of the 'Mr Benn' cartoon

'As if by magic, a traffic warden appeared'!
