Title: Industrial Glue on Windows...
Post by: Tim Downer on October 12, 2004, 10:05:41 am
We have just Started doing Builders Cleans etc...
When it comes to cleaning the windows, we pull off the protective polythene sheet off the glass and find a lot of the glue left on the windows.... >:(
We have tried white spirit - which doesn't really work. (takes forever!!)
We are using scrapers, but am worried about scratching the windows, especially as it is still a building site and a lot of muck everywhere.
Is there a solvent we can use, or any other ideas out there???
Thanx

ditch the white spirit!!!, try thinners instead, but use carefully. Scrapers are fine on glass, even on building sites, as long as the glass is wet
