Title: Hot Water System users
Post by: gary evans on May 16, 2007, 07:08:02 am
Looking at new van system, thing of hot from ionics. What i would like is people using what they feel about them. Time for set-up, heating water, costs to run, break downs, do you use on hot regular, is cost relevant to qoute etc etc.

Currently use Tucker cold, but feed tfr or Tucker tablets to clean dirty, heavy soiled windows. Never had a prblem with Tucker & would prefer there brush & pole setup above others for commercial use by employees.

Thanks for any feed back.

I have tucker and its new enough for me to remember the instructions that came with it. It said 'do not use your tucker pole system with hot water'.

I don't know why, maybe the tubing. However, don't you find its really the best brush and kit - especially the option to use soap? I remember someone on here saying that hot water only makes a difference on first cleans. But you have soap for that. So save the cash for something else. thousands of pounds worth of something else.

P Bowen,

This what i,m thinking, do i get another Tucker & use tablets & tfr as most people that have commenteed previously hardly use the hot & theres more to go wrong.

Have you converted to pennel clamps they are fantastic no bull, i dont think they can be beaten now.

gary i would stick to tucker,it is cheaper to run than the ionics system,i have used both and the ionics was costing  me £150 a month in resin, tucker system cost me about £80 every 5 months, the pennel clamps for the tucker poles are great makes the job easier

Havn't gone pennel. I know this may sound odd, but I really like the jubillee clamps!

It takes all sorts I suppose. The soap thing is so simple. I take it off most os the time, but use it for conservatories etc. It was well worth the extra. It's probably more effective than hot water too.

With ionics you probably need hot water as the brushes are so poor.

Thanks both seems to be heading for another Tucker. It just seems to run & run & the water goes a long way also. I may have to buy pro 10 for int,s that i,ve looked at recently.
