Title: gadget to find out which glass beads

has anyone tried out a device called a low e detector
available through www.carlfdirect.co.uk i have received one of there catalogues and the description is as follows

LOW E DETECTOR
Detects the presence of hard or soft coat low E coating in double glazed units and sheet glass a quick an accurate method of demonstrating compliance to building regulations part no. MES340 £29.95

I WONDERED IF THIS DEVICE COULD HELP US WHEN QUOTING FOR WFP TO FIND OUT WHICH GLASS WOULD SHED WATER AND WHICH WOULD SHEET ANY THOUGHTS
ANYONE GOT ONE ARE THEY ANY USE?

I got one of their catalogues today as well!  I wonder where they got our address?

Probably Yellow Pages, you can buy mailing lists online.  I don't think the Fed would get involved in anything like that.

I'm not in yellow pages, or the phone book.

I dont use the address they sent to for hardly anything.

I have emailed them asking where they got my details.

well i have not had one and i'm in the YP with fed and on the net, as it happens would not mind 1 ;D

isnt that alwasy the way if you dont want it you will if you do want it you will bw forgoten

not seen any thing like that, dont think i would like to go up a ladder with that at the bottom

Hi Peter, no the Fed won't get involved with anything like that, one of the reasons members listed on Fed's website was rejected.

That Ladder Leveller looks like its about to walk of with the ladder  ;D  ;D
